Q for people w/ biggie fuel pumps

The more I read the more it seems I should either install some sort of a fuel cooler or a voltage regulator for my new A-1000 pump due to heating the fuel too much and sooner or later overheating the pump.

I dont daily drive the car but I do put on around 10k miles a year and currently do drive it to the track. The farther the car will drive is around 2.5 hours straight on a freeway. Do most people need to install the regulator or some sort of a fuel cooler or no? Thanks for anyone that can help!
