How do you get this thing to rev to 10k rpm's without the engine blowing up?
He kept the 2.0 liter motor, and a built head. The motor already has a great rodstroke ratio, better than that of honda b16, which easily goes to 10000k all day long.

Yes, with the right parts and build on a 2 liter they will go to 10,000 rpm without a problem.

EVOONYOASS, been really enjoying the videos, keep sending them. My brother is going to drive the car though, it would take a large caliber weapon to keep him from doing it

You could distract him with chocolate covered doughnuts while I hop in the car.

That thing sounds irrational. No compromises. Just all out race.

That wasn't from the IC. The exhaust exits the side of the front bumper.

Is there any reason why you guys(Burshur Racing) did not go with a 2.3 motor?

I'm saying the 2.0 is bad, just wanted to know the pros and cons with going with a 2.0 vs 2.3.

We want to take the engine reliably to 10,000 rpm. We've been really running a lot of RPM's with our strokers without problems but knew for sure we could do well with the 2 liter.

John Shepherd is running our 2 liter in his car and went 7.97 at 179 mph in his AWD Talon. The same engine has been in the car since around April of 2005.
