I am not taking the cam gears off. I need to adjust the 4 bolts on each of them to adjust settings. 65lb/ft seems high for those little bolts.

65 ft. lbs. is not for the small cam gear setting screws! That's for the main cam gear bolt that attaches the gear to the camshaft! The cam gear screws proper torque will be dependent on which cam gears you have, but will be well below 65.

Back when I had my Acura Integra the shops told me to torque it down to 20 ft-lbs and while you're at it use some Loctite Blue on the threads as well..

45 in/lbs!!! don't overtighten them! use a dab of blue loctite with each bolt.

45 in. lbs. is a hella lot closer than 65 ft. lbs. Again, it will be specific to the cam gear. 65 ft. lbs. is retarded.

65 ft-lbs is way too much for tightening the cam gear adjustment screws....

If you are trying to remove the cam gears from the cams, then I agree 65 ft-lbs sounds about right....

I think you need to read the whole thread and not the last thing posted. I applaud you for your math skills but I'm extremely dissapointed in your lack of literacy. My original answer is CORRECT. Search if you don't believe (should have been done in the first place).

Wow, if you are going to respond to a thread, READ THE WHOLE THING! The main bolts that hold the cam gears onto the cams are torqued to 65 ft/lbs. The little screws that are on the cam gear itself, the ones that you must loosen to change the cam timing, are about 45 in/lbs. Or pretty hand tight, not put-your-weight-into-it tight. Also, use BLUE loctite, do not use red if you plan on ever adjusting them again....
