Cam Gears adjustment
Tech question: on Cam gears (Tomey 4 bolts) 1 line = how many degrees? (eg I need to set up for +2/+2, Do I set up just 1 line over???

Thanks, but those are not my cams, I have older vertion which are 4 bolt design. Also the tomei website does not state if 1 Line on the cam gear means 1 degree ?

When people quote cam gear settings, they are usually talking about numbers at the gears, not the crank. Remember that most cam gear lines are in 2 degree increments. So inbetween the lines is 1 degree.

So let me confirm, when people on here say +2/0 they mean 2 lines + on the intake cam/0 on exhaust right?

No 2 degrees and 0 degrees. What you want to do is take a picture of the Gear and post it so we can see what ticks are on a tomei 4 bolt gear or If you go to your local school supplies place and get a protractor about the same size as your gear, it will be marked in 1 degree increments and you can see what your tick spacing is.
