Engine Smell

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and/or if someone knew what this could be...Everytime I get out of my car it smells of rotten eggs on the outside. If I smell near the hood it smells normal but all around the car it smells like rotten eggs. I am almost positive there isnt anything dead under my car, but I havent checked thouroughly. Any thoughts? I recently had an Exedy stage 2 with ACT Prolite Flywheel installed... Thanks for your help.

lol rotten eggs? sorry dont mean to laugh...
you had to probly run over somethin dead and its blood/remains squirted underneath your car or somethin, or someone put a stink bomb near your car, it could be anything

wash your car and see if the smell's still there

Its ok to laugh, it is funny (as long as nothing is wrong). I have washed it and it still smells.

Yeah sounds like a warranty issue with your cat.

muffler shop is a good spot if you have a lot of mods or are out of warranty. If you are still in warranty and have little to no mods go to the dealer.

Or if you are capable of loosening a few bolts pull it off and inspect it yourself.

I think if I were you, I would find a buddy that knows cars, may even drive to a performance shop, and just ask them what they think the smell is. It may even be your clutch. Though I must say rotten egg smell is normally an indication of a bad cat converter.
