I followed an install that had me run the inlet from a T off of the intake manifold vac line.. Capped the turbo nipple, capped the stock boost solenoid nipple and ran the outlet line to the wastegate actuator (naturally).

Holds 22 psi no problem.

^^^^ you should NOT use the "T" method, just use the turbo nipple as the source, enough said!!!

I have the pro on my car, and it hits 23psi good. I'm using the turbo nipple also.

Im not saying that they dont work. Im stating that there is 2 different Hallman MBCs. One comes with a Spring and Ceramic Ball other Doesnt come with any of those. I was simply trying to break the Confusion. Read the Posts to get a better understanding...

this is what i did also. i'll buy a new hose even though i only re-used 1-2 in. of the stock hose. if nothing happens i'll go try the turbo nipple.

see the problem with reusing some of the stock tubing is that it may be the part that has the valve in it with regualtes pressure.
i used the vaccum off of my bov and it worked fine. i seen directions to use them in both places. i recall if u use the vaccum off of the turbo that it may cause surges, where as off of the bov, it was more consistent.

If you read you would know that you dont need a "T" fitting anywhere. You go from turbo nipple to mbc and from mbc to wg. The place you need a "cap" is on your stock boost solenoid. 1/8" or slightly larger would be my guess. They aren't expensive so buy a couple diff sizes so you don't have to go back to the hardware/auto parts store mid install.

I'm thinking of doing the bov/wg way. That is why I asked for the T size. But thanks a lot for the cap size. I was gonna get the caps when I bought the vacuum line and clamps earlier today while I was at Kragen since my friend is the store manager...
