IX 20 G from Buschur delivers at the track with a 11.3 @ 119

Guys - Just got a call from my dear friend Phillyevo who just recived his newly Buschur tuned EVO IX20G with 2.3 L stroker - (stock head and TB)

His first few passes neted an easy 11.3 @ 119.7 mph with his full weight street driver evo

They threw him off the track as he has no cage

I have no doubts that his set up is capable of 10 second passes with a few more adjustments and some more seat time

the IX20G is a great turbo for sure

That's Vishnu Stage 2 territory. Impressive.
Do you think the 20GIX is capable of low 11s without the 2.3?

How much would you attribute to the stroker motor and head work (I thought I read he had a stage 3 head)?

I'd like to see a real world example of what this turbo can do on pump. Bolt ons, the 20g9 and a flash.

Other then that, good lord congrats....I trapped the same mph on pump last night with my 20g, but I can't drive, pulled a 2.1 short time, and the next run I wheel hopped and broke the trans.

Lets see it on a 2.0. What does a stock turbo run on a 2.3l stroker?

Yes, I think we need a 2.0 time sans stroker.

Great times but I think it has to do more with the 2.3 stroker, than the turbo, as 119 can be achieved with stock turbo

I will have some stock 2.0/bolt-ons 20g-9 times within the next month or two.

Congrats tho! That's impressive. Hopefully he will post up the time slip so I can check it out

Those number's are impressive, but I would like to point out a couple of observations that may make these numbers seem not so impressive for those mods.

There is another thread(https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...84&postcount=1) of a guy with an Evo IX with MBC, K&N drop in, and TBE. He ran an 11.9@115. Holy ****, did you just read the mods, cause they could have been easily missed as there are vertually none.

this person has a stroker and a 20gIX with race gas and it can only do .6 sec better? Also of note is that part of this .6 sec is from an awesome 60ft time of 1.6 compared to 1.8

I don't know, just an observation.

Do the math: difference in driver skill(not car). 1.8-1.6 = .2 sec. I've heard that .1 sec off 60ft time = .2 sec off 1/4 mile time. that's .4sec. .6-.4=.2 sec difference in car ability

I just thought most could do that in their head.
