Holding boost to redline

I have the simple bolt on's, and an ecutek custom flash...Hallman mbc and aps d/v to hold boost; 1st,2nd, and 3rd gear spike at 22/23 and holds at about 20/21. 4th spikes to 23(sometimes 24) and sometimes it holds 21 to redline, and sometimes 23 at redline. Is everyone else's boost inconsistant like this? I could of swore when I first got my flash, I held more boost at redline( but that was a while back so I cant remember). But I have stock cams, stock fuel pump, and I think I could use a coil on plug ignition instead of the ****ty stock ignition. Im thinking first thing that needs to be replaced is my fuel pump to achieve more power up top.. any input? whats everyone else boost controller holding..?

A quick search will answer your question and also it would inform you that you are playing with fire by not being tuned and running the stock fuel pump with that much boost.

Good luck

Im not a newb, ive been searching for an hour but came up with dead end threads, not answering my exact questions. I actually had my boost spiking at no more than 21, but when I got the flash the tuner turned it up as he saw fit.

I run 23-24 lbs. in my ix on pumpgas, with a custom EcuTek flash too.. There is no problem running 24 lbs. on pump if the tune allows for it....

With that much boost you had better have an upgraded fuel pump or you may be leaning out at times.
