20G or 16G ?????

How can you tell the difference between a 20G & 16G. I have looked for part numbers and cany find any online. DOes a 20G 8 have a 16G housing with a 20G wheel etc? If so how do I identify the wheel?

Thanks for the help guys.

r u seri? i guess so. the new buschur 20g-8 has the 03-05 16g compressor housing, the new buschur 20g-9 has the 06 16g compressor housing.
the wheels are 20g wheels in 16g housings.

no one is helping because this has been a huge topic of conversation for the past few months on here and if u did a search and read a little u would find what u are looking for.

I have read 32 threads total, I'm not lazy nor am I stupid. I was asking if there is anyway of telling the 20G from a 16 without taking the compressor housing as a 16 can be machined to fit a 20g wheel. I may have missed a specific thread with a wheel difference, thats possible as I am over loaded with info from reading all these threads.

well in that respect, the new 20g-9-5 has 5 blades instead of 6. other than that, noone but buschur and FP know the actually wheel differences.

The only Evo 20Gs in production in the US of any number and worth have a 5 blade wheel vs the 16G 6 blade wheel. I'm disinterested if this comment elicits ANY debate.

Thanks. I am so over whelmed with all this info. Half of these threads turn into flame wars and vendor jocking ( by members) and you lose the point of the valuable info.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Don't get a 20g. They hardly peform any better than a stock turbo, and have way more turbo lag.
