Yes, however you don't need to try the turbo to know its performance numbers lol. They have these things called compressor maps:

Funny how you dig up a compressor map with the DSM tdo6h 20g.. that turbo just made 390 whp on turbo trix's dyno......on 93 octane. now given this isnt the buschur turbo (tdoh5), it still gives you an idea that it makes power. I would take my 20g-9-5 against ANY 03-05 turbo on pump ( i haven't even tried alky yet) Keep in mind i have seen and felt most of these turbos in action.

Edit* you don't have to be a smart *** in your posts, if thats the way your going to be than you can join all the other jackass's on this forum on my ignore list

The small difference in performance is not worth the cost.

to u maybe, but with stage 4 and the buschur 20g-9-5 u can get 375whp on pump gas. lets see the 16g do that consistantly without alky.

I'd go with a 20g-9 TME based (w/ the 9 compressor housing). That way you gain the spool up advantage of the lighter turbine plus the FP wheel which makes a big difference in sustaining boost at high rpms. Its also a good turbo to move forward with and with a proper setup is 400-420whp capable with a ton of power under the curve.

That is personal opinion which goes further into debate with other mods. Ti exhaust with cat delete and down pipe....$800. about 25whp depending on mods. that is just one example of money vs power. I see in your sig that you have the EDFC which, if im not mistaking, cost a pretty penny, now i can't justify the cost if it only takes a couple minutes to adjust the damper manually.

This is for the people who don't want to spend $$$ on turbo kit upgrade, not including some kind of engine managment, want something that is just an easy bolt on as gives them reasonable power w/o worry of anything else.

Every single mod that I have listed came with the car. Yeah really in the end its all about how much money you want to spend. If you want to spend $1500 or more just for a 50 hp increase, go right ahead.

Its a new turbo that FP just came out with, Spools faster than a 35r but puts down almost the same amount of power

Question for you all with a evo9 or 20G-9 turbos.
Which of the following is the correct code or part number for the evo 9 compressor housing. Is there a way to tell by the stamping on the side?

From reading all 90 of the threads I also found if it has a TD05HRA in the part number thats the Titanium wheel originally. Not that it makes a difference since the original wheel was replaced, but in case someone wanted to know what the A was for.
