Your Evo will blow up when u hit 19.5 PSI!

j/k
you'll get some stuttering when letting off the gas. But just turn it around... use it the way it was made to be used.

it can definitely destroy your turbo over time since it won't vent excess pressure this way and creates major compressor surge.

i thought turning them around helps it hold better? or is that with a different kind of bov?

and on the topic of bov....i thought when they vent back into the intake they are call bpv "by pass valve" and bov"blow off valve" were atmosphere venting....thats what they were defined as with my audi 1.8t......am i missing something, or are they wrong....

When installed backwards it holds boost like an HKS SSBOV. However it wont blow off effectively.... It will over time cause turbo bearing failure... Its almost like not having a BOV at all.

They are called bypass valves or diverter valves when they route back to the intake, but I think the majority of the users on here gave up on explaining that to every newbie that came around.

The only reason I've heard for reversing a DV is that it supposedly sounds louder when paired with an intake.
