SBR gt35r installed w/pics *56k warning*

well im finally done. tomarrow ive got a road tune with al from dyno flash and i cant wait. so here is my take on the sbr kit. ill give it to you in good and bad break down. here are the bad:

- LICP had to be modified slightly. it was a little long and the pipe is made for the turbo to be pointed straight down. see pic for angle. you can see in the pic that the licp is funky. i had a local muffler shop shorten it and angle the 90 to fit. not a big deal. im just **** about stuff looking perfect cost me 40.00 bucks. had to do it twice. measured once cut twice my bad.

- Already talked to sbr about this and they are fixing for future customers: the mani threads were not deep enough so i had to go buy smaller bolts to mate the turbo to the mani. 1.65 each x4

- i wish a vender would supply 1/4 silicone hose for routeing the wg. i could have saved a trip to the hardware store. not so much a bad, just a thing that would make it more complete.

In all honesty that is about all. other typical things that big turbo installs need. like moving lines and stuff. now for the good

- The mani fit perfectly. and looks sweat too

- the 02 housing is a work of art fit perfectly also

- My reason for buying this kit ( the stock down pipe fit this 02 perfect. i mean it mated up exact. big thumbs up to sbr. i read alot of posts about 02's in other kits not working out right. you guys hit it right on.

-the dump tube is shaped just right and touches nothing.

- the wg (44mm tail) fit great

I am very pleased with my choice and would totaly recommend this kit. i mean hell, its got a cast steel mani, and a 02 that uses your after market dp. most of us doing a big turbo installs already have a full TBE. i only drove it for a minute last night cause i had the bc hooked up wrong. but ill tell you what the trade off for the lag to the top end is worth it. the stocker pulled fast and hard but i know for sure id pass a evo with full bolt ons and the stocker like he was a geo . after my road tune tomarrow ill post up how the car feels and on the 25th i have dyno appointment and post up some numbers. feel free to ask me about anything i left out. im a happy customer. big thanx to Josh at Importimage

I am very interested in your tune and what Al and you think of it. I think this kit is definately price attractive. When you do get it tuned will you post all of your mods?
