question about blowing the head...

heres my situation.... i'm getting a tune soon with my mods in my signature, i plan on also getting a methonal/alky kit to go along with those mods. i would imagine ill be somewhere between 340-380 whp after a custom tune. here's my concern, i like having the cutout because i dont want to constantly hear a loud exhaust and it seemed to be the right thing to have at the time. now i've been reading about people with a fair share of mods with a completely stock exhaust blowing their heads. since i have taken out the cat will that be enough flow to not worry about that happening? or should i spend what i have to and just get a free flowing exhaust that is around the same dbl level as the stocker.

k so this is a 2 part question lol....lets say the stocker is fine and i dotn have to worry about having any issue's running about 25 pounds of boost safely, i plan i getting my tune with my exhaust open to maximize the power of the cut out, when i close the cutout with the tune, can anyone guess how the car will act? i know ill lose a pretty good amount of power but will i be running to rich/lean or any other issues?

thanks

There is no such thing as blowing a head. People have spun rod bearings and broken ringlands etc, but in most cases the head is fine it's the engine that goes south.

"blowing the head" meaning blowing a head gasket? It seems what most people are doing is getting head studs to prevent head lift and con-rod bolts to replace the next weak link in the chain.

The car will act very different. Its about a 40whp difference. The back pressure on the turbo and engine will be the problem.
