had to bring this back from the dead, because I am now a believer.

My friend has been running a voodoo mbc with ceramic ball bearing $20 ebay on his 600hp talon for years without any issues..

If I had a 200000$ turbo car i would buy a $20 dollar mbc that performs like an 80$

Thats, why I have a paid for house, why the rest of you "30K car cheap mbc" peeps will be old as dirt before you "own" a piece of america.

Frivoulous spending won't save you guys, word to the wise.

I dont have any problems with people using the cheaper ones, and I dont have experence with those two boost controllers, but I used a DNA racing MBC for about 2 months, then my buddy got an EBC and sold me his Forge cheap, I definatly holds boost further out towards redline, as well as more consistantly.

those companies probably started with cheaper parts way back when...then when their name brand became known, that's when the prices started jacking up. so pretty much nowadays when you buy forge, perrin, hallman, nike, sony, etc. you're partly or sometimes mostly paying for the name.

i'm not usesing the turbo xs high performance boost controller. it uses a bleader valve and a ball and spring to controol boost. i dont know why ppl say it sucks for the evo but i'm useing it and it works great.

The TurboXS performs very poorly compared to other MBCs on the Evo.

Why spend even $50 when you can buy the parts for $10 and make your own?
