Soon2BEVO, have you actually enlarged that hole on yours with good results?
Im just saying I think the creep problem is definitely from the hole being too small. You can enlarge it, there is plenty of room. I didnt touch it even though I thought it might cause creep just because I hadnt heard of any other issues with boost creep with the Ebay-like 02s (Ebay, Megan, Helix, SS, etc). However, if it were off again, Id enlarge that hole.

Also most of them ppl have cams , which mean that the motor is more efficient than yours . So the other ppl waste gate stays closed longer due to the motor diegesting more air (VE=volumetric efficiency is greater , Teb B could break it down better) and the turbo cant keep up as easy as your car can without cams . So your waste gate would be opening more than some one with cams and thats why it might show up more in a non camed car vs a camed car . And on top of that you have a leaking bov , leaking pipes(maybe) and you need a tune .

Come to think of it I also had to turn my EBC way down too, which resulted in the boost being lazy to come on no matter what the gain setting was. Typical symptom of a too loose actuator, but then I have creep too.

I can bet that you have two problems EVO8LTW. Red spring in the Forge WGA is a bit too stiff and not enough preload on the wastegate arm will make it lazy, you are correct there. I am finding that the blue spring + preload is better than the red spring and little to no preload.

If I wasn't ***** to the wall all this week I would look at it. If you don't have it worked out by Fri-Sun, I will try to take a look at it for you. All the O2's mentioned are the same.

Here is something to think about...

If your inside diameter of your pressure source to your UNOS boost controller is not of adequate diameter (vacuum hose too small (ID)), you would get boost creep as not enough of a pressure signal could be sent to the boost controller ball and spring to force it open and release the pressure on to the wastegate.

i got my ex mani, 10.5 ported. I also put on a ebay 02 housing and when i WOT it holds 21 psi until arounf 6k rpms and then jumps to 22 - 24 psi until i am done with the full rpm range....is this the same thing? This started happening to me recently. I havent had a tune since the ported goods...good that be a reason?

I never had creep. I got the tubular manifold / o2 housing / full turbo back with test pipe/ hks rs intake / forge unos mbc / txs bov / tuned
It never creeped before the tune either. Nor did it hit boost cut.

Don't buy a different boost controller. Tell Mike or Luis to change the one you got for a new one. They can allways send yours to Forge at UK so they can fix it if it is broken. I don't see why they would not do that.

Completely remove the mbc and two lines attached. Order some high pressure oil resistant rubber tubing, disassemble mbc, clean with alcohol, inspect for foriegn crap and rough surfaces, lightly (very lightly) grease contact surfaces, attach lines to mbc, instal so lines are as short as possible and dont leak (2 ties ea). Make sure its hooked up correct

It may have been a bit warmer that week that there were no boost creep problems, & now it's cold, & the air is more dense again. You may be right at the edge of efficiency for your wastegate system, & the warm weather made that bit of difference.
