Defi BF gauge accuracy Bar=lbs?

I was driving around tonight, and it came to mind to check and see just how accurate my Defi BF gauge is.

I'm running 21lbs, but what should the gauge read in bar? What tick mark marks out 21lbs?

I peaks at the first tick mark after 1.5 bar...is that overboosting? The car runs like a champ, and I don't hear what I would think is valve ticking or anything. Just pulls and pulls

Anyone know of a link that does bar- lbs conversion?

Thanks!

Thanks guys!

Stephen, I'm confused why you'd say you are running 21psi when you don't know how to read your boost gauge. What was the point of your gauge this whole time if you didn't know what it was saying?

S2kstephen,
I didnt see alky listed in your sig.. so my question is : How are you going to run 24psi safely on the (im assuming) stock turbo? What octane gas are you using?

I fail to see the correlation between this comment and the one to which you responded. Having a mail-in flash doesn't make him able to run 24psi on the stock turbo safely. I know he had alky in the plans, but I don't see the kit listed for some reason.

Scott, thats exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!

Yea, I've corrected my sig. At the time I was planning on running Alky at 24psi, but have yet to do the Alky tuning. I'll change my sig to 21psi.

Warr: I had a digital boost gauge at first, now that I have a Defi, I just needed to convert the PSI into bar.

Defi now makes those gauges in imperial units...if you are confused, I would sell the one you have now and pick up a BF in psi!
