my triple carbon clutch slips on me sometimes so i load the clutch up hold the e brake up hold the rpms at about 3 grand and hold the clutch where it engages for about 3 or 4 seconds it heats up the carbon and makes the discs stickier and after i do this it handles what ever i throw at her try it see if it works exedy suggests it.goodluck i hope it helps

ohh.. not so much on the launching actually..
the rumbling sound has been terrible, and its getting louder by day, especially at gear 1 when I try to move the car from stop
I think my clutch is running thin.. that's why I was wondering if I could just change the discs or do I have to get the whole new kit.. as the kit is pretty costly

rumbling sound... sound like rubbing 2 rocks together?!
I know that exedy clutch will produce rattling sound which caused by the noises transmitted from the engine to the gear box.. but the sound is getting louder by day.
the sound will come when I let the gas pedal go at 3000-40000 rpm
I'm gonna have it check at the dealer asap.. really worried

called up the exedy... really friendly service
the guy told me that i might need to adjust my floater plate or something like that.. for every 5K-10K
I can just change the carbon disc if its running thin... : )
any good clutch workshop around in LA?? preferable someone that has experience with twin carbon disc..

You can replace just the discs for $300- $400. Now is the best time to convert it to carbon.
