What do you think about this setup?

Hey guys i just wanted to post my current and soon to be mods to see how sound of a setup im goin to have. Im going to be shooting for 425- 450hp on pump 93 gas. Most importantly i want my setup to be safe and last since this car HAS to last me a long time. The plan right now is to try to install everything the first week of April and have Al road flash me in Va on the 9th. I guess im goin to have to turn the boost way down and creep over there.

Current Mods:

HKS Hyper Turboback
Ultimate Testpipe
Helix Dp (to be swapped out with one to fit the 50 trim setup)
Injen Upper Ic Pipes plus Intake
TurboSmart Dual Port Bov
HKS 272 Cams
255lph Fuel Pump
Act Clutch
DynoFlash

To Be Added:

Garrett 50 trim turbo non bb (RNR is helping with the O2 housing, DP, and etc)
DNP Manifold t3/t4
680 Injectors
Either a Tial or Turbonetics Wastegate 40mm (still need to buy this)
Buschur FMIC
DynoFlash Road Tune

I also have arp head studs that im undecided on installing right now.

I would try to instal everything as early as possible before the tune.

Before the tune: Fix exhaust leaks, change oil, t-bolt all pressure fittings, check tire psi, change plugs and bring extra ones (BR8ES and 7ES) don't gap with the cheap tool.

I would hold off on the studs and dont send it over 7500 rpm.

Post results dyno or track

Oh yeah, decide on a WG and install it.

The only advice I can offer is, make sure you don't wait until the last minute! My friend and I did a fuel pump the day before our flash and he ended up without a car the next day. Just be sure to give yourself plenty of time to troubleshoot and do maintenance.

Should the 680's be enough fuel to handle this turbo? Im not trying to make crazy boost numbers anyhow. I want enough to be effective but i still want to be on the safe side.

Seriosly I doubt you will nearly see 425-450WHP on pum gas with 50 trim and no AEM. More likely you will get 380 WHP or so. But anyways good luck !!!

Tru you'd get more power with an aem....but people running only a reflash with a bb 50 trim have hit anywhere from 410-440, depending on supporting mods with pump gas only. So i think mike's statement that just because you dont have a standalone you won't hit that mark is wrong.

But if he's taking into account that you don't have a stand-alone, you're only running pump, AND the turbo is non-bb...then i'd agree that your numbers will be lower, but i think it'd be more than 380...maybe 400-410.

How come you're not getting the BB version of the 50 trim?

People aren't getting above or near 425whp on the stock turbo without some serious alky or meth injection and running the turbo way out of its efficiency range!!!

Last year I talk to Al from Dynoflash, cause I got 280s cams headwork and was gonna get 35R turbo, so I been told that I shouldnt expect more then 425 on Pump at 21-22PSI of boost. Now if you were to up the boost you can fairly easy get to high 400's.
