differential lockup ratio

hi guys im new here
generally speaking...whats does the 25%lsd mean ?
im not asking about lsd but im asling about the 25% i thought it meant that one wheel can have a up to 25% of the driving torue while the other will have up to 75 % but if so what will be the difference between a25% lsd and a 75%lsd

I think it means that if you have a spinning wheel due to lack of traction (eg: when your rear wheel lifts off the ground) then 25% of the torque out of the 100% it normally gets will get transfered to the wheel with traction. If you had a 100% LSD (fully locked) then both wheels would get 100% equally divided (50-50). Someone, correct me if I am wrong.
