I made sure I did that on the O2 housing and where it connects to the cat-back. Still too close for my comfort. I can push it with my hands and it will touch. I was also thinking about some Kartboy hangers to minimize the movement some.

mine only rubbed when I installed my e-bay o2 housing, it was kinda like the housing was shorter than the stock 1 Also after installing the e-bay o2 I no longer needed the washers on the tie bars.

My downpipe was about the width of a nickel away from my TC.

So will the A'PEXi N1 or GT downpipe fit. I'm not sure but aren't they 2.75"

If you use just one of the two front kartboy hangers it´ll pull the DP away from where it hits. That is, you leave one compliant, stock hanger and put the tighter kartboy unit on the opposite side, so it pulls the DP away from where it´s hitting. Also you can bend one of the two hanger rods on the DP away so that it pulls the centerline of the DP away from the side where it makes contact. I did these two things and there is no more interference.

Weird - I had one for my IX MR and it hit everywhere. I sold it off to a guy with a VIII. I am looking for a downpipe for my IX RS now....Hence I asked. Thanks!
