Malibujack's Mechanical Engine ****

Well, Not sure if this is the right place, but I knew the title would get some attention..

What you see here is the result of some of my recent free time..

The engine and head are "In progress" of getting 2.32l stroker, full race porting, the intake manifold HAS BEEN MODIFIED to retain the stock MAP sensor, and other doohickies that make it bolt-on, and I will be sending out my spare throttlebody for rework, turbo is an Buschur 20G-TME, Forge Wastegate actuator with red spring (20 psi approx), JIC Magic Header (Thermal coated), DNP O2 housing (also thermal coated), both the header and o2 housing have been "Cleaned up" internally to smooth flow. Ancillary items not seen in the photo are my custom COP system, 280 cams, Unorthodox Cam gears, Billet Pulleys (My car is NOT sensitive to noise issues seen with aftermarket pulleys), balance shaft eliminator, SILVER powder coating will be going on the valvecover, and tons of other secret sauce..

I'll post more as some of the stuff starts coming back from the machine shop. FWIW my combination is intended to produce low-end torque but still have nice high-rpm power. I've always been a V8 grunt guy so this was my theory for doing that.

Nah, unfortunately my stuff was coated a few months before he started doing it, the quality of the work is top-notch though.

Jack, nice work as usual. You need to spend the extra 50 bucks and get an engine stand. You don't want the ants crawling all over that piece of candy!

LoL Funny you mention that, I actually have a stand, but couldn't remember what size/thread bolts the bellhousing was, so I sat it down on the box for the weekend since I'll be tearing it down again to finish the stroker and balance shaft setup.

What are you planning on using in terms of ECU/piggyback?
