Update on this? any reason the 9 turbo is better than the TME turbo? i havent heard anywhere else that it is. is it just the compressor housing thats better on the 9 turbo?

Well, I have an 03 Evo and had swapped out to the 05 MR turbo. Now I have the 20G-9 six blade and let me tell you, you can feel the difference at each stage. However, I am very happy with the 20G-9 so far from turbochargers.com.

There is no surge and the powerband and torque is so much broader than with the Evo VIII turbo. There might be a hint more lag, but none that makes driving a chore. The engine just feels punchier and power stays longer. You will be able to boost higher for longer as well.

I will post dyno numbers as soon as I get a chance to go to the dyno.

My current setup is the 20G-9 with the following supporting mods: 272/272 HKS cams, cam gears (-3,-3), Forge UNO boost controller, RRE rally cat, Apex'i WSII catback, WORKS DP, Invidia O2 housing (very nice cast piece), fule pump, 660 cc injectors and ECU+. Everything else is stock. We'll see

How do you like the Invidia o2 housing? Does it retain the stock donut gasket? Is it really cast and where did you find it?

So is there a difference between the TME9 you guys are talking about and the "White Rabbit" conversion offered by WORKS?

I think this is the best O2 housing out there besides the overpriced WORKS unit. I just love it. The thing is huge. lol It comes with its own metal donut gasket. From others that have it I heard that they had no fitmit problems with their downpipes. I happen to have a WORKS DP and the opening is a bit larger than other DP. So I ended up altering the stock donut gasket to use with the O2 housing. It's just a beautiful piece.

Only thing I don't like about is is that it relocates the O2 sensor to a differnt location on the O2 housing which makes running the O2 sensor wire a stretch without somekind of extension harness.

It realy is cast and I found it at SRT Motorsports here in SoCal.

what does it go for?

what would be the advantages over the Ebay 02 housing aside from better construction/durability?
