Thermal Exhaust for EVO is READY

I went down to thermal R&D shop for the Evo prototype exhaust made it for me that day. So it should be coming out here in about 2 too 3 weeks for the final touch up. Let me tell u that thing is awesome 3 inch from cat back all stainless steal. Not loud at all but my evo pulls alot harder with just that mod. Well sad to say that they had to take it off for final production. I'll be getting it back next week. If u have any question contact them @818 988 4865 or toll free @1888 2thermal. They also are making a down pipe.

Any dyno #'s? Any pics? Any idea what they'll be charging? Where did it seem to help power the most?

I'm pretty sure it's the same guy since Louis (Vtec1) has a blue evo.

Get some pics and the exact price when the exhaust comes back. What muffler and/or resinator did they use? I, for one, would be interested. Let us know.

Vtech 1- You said not loud at all. How does noise in the cabin compare to stock when cruising at 3k-3.5k rpm?

Does it sounding fine mean it has none of that annoying coffee can muffler sound? I can't tell you how much I hate that sound and hope to find a catback with similar to stock sound.

Most turbo cars sound nothing like honda rice rockets with exhausts. It has to do with the lowered compression. Very low, rumbling sound........very beefy sounding. I got a chance to hear the RMR exhaust and it sounded really nice. Not much louder than stock! When he revved it it sounded clean and beefy. Not annoyingly loud.

Yah... turbo cars have that deep rumble sound as opposed to NA which will have the high pitch sound. After putting a turbo on my old GSR teg, it sounded a lot meaner, deeper tone and of course, was begged to be driven to 8k.
