ON my way to the dark side. I have a really modded WRX right now. and BTW really modded only means around 300WHP give or take, and I have blown the stock gears and just recently blew the RA gears set. RA gears are basically the beefier parts from older Grupe N prepared subarus with shorter ratios. Both happend the same way (not during shifting just under load) and now Im looking into the EVO IX also because it wa everything I was trynig to get out of my Subie. Im still going to drive the STi but EVO is looking better by the day. Just concerned with tranny failures or TC's more then trannies acording to this thread

 

i have a jdm 5 speed in my wrx right now..with the 4.11 gears..But, nobody could confirm how much power that it could handle..And i am at the next step,of getting a bigger turbo,tuning,etc..So..i decided to just sell the car..and buy an evo..After riding in one a few days ago..Now, i just haveto get my finances together..and sell my car..and EVO..HERE I COME..Justin..
