yeah probally later down the road. This is my second EVO and have never launched with this car. First EVO was a guinea pig and changed the clutch at 10k. Im hoping it'll last me for a while. But I will be hitting the track once all the mods are in.

Stock clutch should barely hold that power level, though I doubt it will last through many hard launches.

Im hoping for 400whp but the price goes something like this:

Greddy, Helix, UR test pipe = $800
Hallman MBC = $80
Turbo XS FMIC = $500
Nesei Intercooler Piping = $480
Nesei Mini Battery Kit = $160
DC Header = $340
Ebay o2 = $70
Walbro Fuel Pump = $90
Cooling Myst Stage 3 kit =$460
HKS 272in/272ex cams =$530
ARp Headstuds =$100
other (gaskets etc) = $100

i made 381/400 on TT dynojet with a similar set-up, minus the intercooler. so i think u'll be right there with a good tune. My clutch is still holding up, although i havent launched this car yet with this setup. so i hope ur clutch is in good shape.

This guys Superz (awesome mech) who's running GT35(500whp+) with stock clutch. I think he has put at least 5k on the car with the kit. I know 400whp and couple hard launches will toast the stock clutch but I will try to make it last as long as possible.

Honestly, I don't see a reason to want 400whp (400wtq really) yet remain on the stock clutch. You won't be using any of that power ever, so what's the point other than to say you have 400whp.

Not everybody enjoys feeling the hp/tq from a standstill. I know ol' folks who never ever ever ever launch there cars put don't have a problem ringing out 3rd-5th in there evos.

After purchasing the package from Buschur, you get an RA#, then you take out your ECU and mail it to Dynoflash along with the RA#. He sends it back, then you install everything and rock out.

I don't really think you have to abuse your clutch to use your power, as peak power is high in the RPM range, and you don't have to launch to use it.

Peak torque is below 4000rpm. That's where the real "power" is. How often do you get to run your car to high rpm in 4th and 5th gear? I only get to do it on a road course, but that also abuses the clutch.

You can't really do that daily driving on the street. The most fun is the "pull" you feel from mega torque, and 400wtq in gears 3-5 from a low rpm roll-on will overload the stock clutch eventually whether you launch or not.
