Godspeed Intercooler... how good is it??

Just like it says... does anyone have experience with these intercoolers? How do they honestly compare to say a Perrin, or AMS, or a Spearco? I'm somewhat curious as to how certain intercoolers can vary so much in price, yet they are the same dimensions. Is there a huge difference in quality, or is it a name brand thing?

Any feedback would be appreciated...

Its a quality thing thats the reason why the $ difference. As far as that fmic its more of a show piece vs a performance piece its great airflow at low end and just for driveing around a few runs here and there. But on top end it drops pressure about 12% i could be a lil off on that it verys on car but if your car is a stock trim based evo with stock turbo, injectors, intake and so on. Once you mod the car it will start lossing more pressure cuz it can hold the air flow . Thats why people always ask why is the ARC fmic so much it because of the quality of the product its far more better then any fmic out today, unless you are running a race core which is rated 600+ hp like AMS , B/R. The ARC doesnt have a hp rateing because they havent found a hp number that it would drop any type of pressure. I saw a test where they ran it up to 812hp on a 40R Sti with a 50 shot, and it held up like a champ. I would say get it if you where to keep your car mostly stock and to give it a mean look. But if your going with big mods dont get it. As far as the other fmic you named they very in core lay out like bar plate ect ect... And remeber when picking a fmic make sure you get one that suits your mods because you could end up loseing power. Good luck
