ok ive had 3 Walbro 255 in my car....work great untill they break (have no idea why,im someone has suggestions let me know)....I was not sure what to search for inregards to what other options I have for fuel pumps?? i know Denso makes a 310lph....but dont quite need that....what else is ther.....just a short answer is all that is needed.....and if there are not any alternitives then what is a good site to order these from....i got the one i have now from Z1 Auto....i think it was $90 shipped....anywher cheaper? THNX for the help....

Why are you going thru so many fuel pumps do you have a regular Lancer and is the same as the Evo fuel pump. If so just about every site has them for sale. I dont know of anyone who has had there Walbro fail mine has 23k and all my buddys Evo's are also doing great with there Walbro's with higher mileage.

 

my walbro is doing fine as well... you should probably worry more about what is causing the pumps to go bad...
I have seen the walbro's for either $69 or $79 shipped...

 

so ther is no alternitives? just the Walbro255....and yes got a US lancer but the same pumps and all...yeah i got no idea why they go bad....ive checked electrical....and its 12-13V to the pump const......other than that i got no idea....the one i have on ther now has been working since aug/sept of last year.....

 

do you fill up to a full tank everytime you need gas/?

 

mines good too maybe 10000 miles on it and no problems maybe u have a short thats cause them to go bad cause if u put another pump it just might mess it up agian i'd say put in ur stock pump see how long it last if it what ever is causing the walbo to go bad maybe it will do the same to the stock one good luck

 

cant run stock pump....needed the added fuel pressure...and yes i fill her up full everytime and try not to let it go below 2 gallons left.
