help me choose the cluth plz...
My cluth just gone out today So I need to get the new one asap.
right now I have gt35r on my car making about 400ftlbs at the wheel
anyhow I have three choices in my mine.
1. exedy twin plate
2. cucso twin plate
these two I think they're about the same cluth but anyway If you guy know some more of information please collect me.
3. ACT extreme without changing flywheel<----this is perfect for my wallet
does anyone here ever changing the cluth without chaging the flywheel?
this will cost me about $500 and forget about the labor because my uncle can do it for free.
If I need to pay $800 for ACT+Flywheel then I will just pay for twin plate for like $1400
thank you guyz

Good poll of opinions:

The stock flywheel is a good peice but pretty thin. Contrary to what the dealer or some others might say, they can be resurfaced really reasonably. The ACT flywheel is thicker behind the disc, but lighter and the weight is taken from the outside perimeter. But I don't want to make this an advertisement for ACT. The Exedy twin is a good clutch, but not really what I would call a street clutch. If you are comparing with the ACT, compare it to our spring center puck clutch, not the street kit. If you don't mind giving up a little comfort, a race clutch is going to be really durable and deliver a lot of torque capacity. If you really want to keep your car something more tolerable in traffic or on hills, a street clutch is perferred. You have to balance the benefits and tradeoffs to what suits you. PM if you have further questions.
