whats my problem?

run down of today:

-took off k&n typhoon intake
-cut out flap inside the pipe
-sprayed some black rustoleum inside the pipe -dried
-re installed the pipe
-took filter off and sprayed with brake cleaner, dirty. (couldnt find a new filter today)
-put the filter back on.

-started car
-revved it up and i was gettting what felt like misfiring or fouled plugs.

car builds boost, but doesnt feel like anything is happening, almost like im running 2 lbs.

what could be wrong?

thanks fellas

no tune.. but i didnt have a problem with it , other than the occasional stalling caused by the "flap" inside the tube.

yeah i checked that too. you guys know if that brake cleaner destroys the maf sensor or would it just temporarily make it run waywire until its dry?

i didnt spray it directly onto the sensor but i guess it got sucked onto it from the filter.

i dont feel like searching.
yes this much i already know about the k&n pipe.
i had no choice it was on there when i bought the car.
i dont have a stock intake.
yes i will tune my car when im ready and have all the parts first.

whats the difference betweeen a hks pipe and the typhoon pipe, besides the flap inside it that i already cut out.

and btw dont come off like a dick when you dont know the situtation people are in. smartypantz

I pesonally would not ever admit that you didnt want to search. Duh??? I dont always like to search, but that is what the past history forums are for and search is for. Double Duh??? Everyone on this forum usually likes to help people that help themselves.

You're definately coming off as a snob. You should not insult people when they are trying to help. Its your own fault for not searching and then getting upset at the forum members. You're a tool.
