The point that I'm getting at, and you verified, is that the Buschur flash is truely unique to the standard mail in flash. I would hate to see Al/Dave selling a standard flash with a Buschur stamp on it for a premium. If the tunes are kept independant as you say they are, then it is worth the premium.

Last question... can the "Buschur/Warrtalon" tune be purchased independantly so that someone can truely piece together a real warrtalon package without buying it all at once? Yes, it would cost them more money in the long run I know.....

Yes, Hatch, then to confirm your worry, the files ARE separate. Al has specific Buschur flash files, and then he has all his regular customer files to choose from. For these packages and these packages alone, the customer gets the special Buschur flash file.

I've never considered that 2nd question. I supposed someone could pay $375 separately for the special flash, but that would only make sense if they have NO ACCESS to a custom tune due to lack of proximity.

Hey, Nick, I need to get Dave to edit the original post so that it mentions the Bullet muffler instead of the race/magnaflow mufflers.

How are the IXs flashed so cheaply? Isn't ECUtek the only available flash software for the IX? Aren't the licenses alone more than $375?

Nope, Al is using TechTom and has been for several months. He's the only tuner doing it...

No problem. I will try and get it done soon. Dave is in Arizona and Nevada doing AEM tunes right now so, as soon as he gets back I will see to it.

So basicly...the best options are....

Dynoflash= Generic Flash....$232 (if you dont have access to custom tune & dont have all buschur parts)

Buschur= Set up for bushur parts.....$375 (best one can hope for if your using all buschur parts)

Custom Tune= ....$? (if you dont have all buschur parts)

$375 for an VIII custom Dynoflash on a tuning trip. $450 for IXs. This price is regardless of mods unless it's someone who gets a package and wants to upgrade to a custom flash without ever getting the base flash.

I just have an official package that Buschur sells. Before the package, people were following the same upgrade path, but were having to put it together themselves.
Buschur sells these complete packages? Does he sell Megan Racing Exhausts? What is the difference between the Buschur Turbo back and the Megan racing turbo back? The only reason I ask is because you run the Megan Exhaust yet advertise the Buschur package is all.

The packages were made after I already had my mods and are based on Buschur's exhaust. I now have a Buschur exhaust in place of my Megan.

Does it make more power or does it fit better? I was wondering why you would change it.

You used to use Megan? lol!

@High PSI
Don't even consider the Megan, its a piece of crap like all Megan Parts. Go with the Bushur or any other quality exhaust that you like.

Hey Cloud, Warr would tout the usefulness of the Megan exhaust having perfect fitment, being by FAR the cheapest, and made enough power for him to run a 12.00 without cams on an 05 MR, which is quite an accomplishment. Then Warr began advertising his Warr/Buschur packages but he still ran the Megan although his Sig gave some WHP numbers on these packages which included the Buschur Exhaust, so I was assuming that no matter which exhaust is used, the power would be the same. The issue is the Buschur Exhaust is almost twice as much as the Megan exhaust.

So my question is, should we skip the Buschur Exhaust and just buy the Megan exhaust to save basically another $400 which could be like a HKS ignition or maybe a sway bar and so on. If it fits just as well and makes just as much power and is a LOT cheaper, then why get the Buschur exhaust?
