Where in the world are you getting that price difference? $400??? NO clue where that came from.

I don't yet know the power, weight, or fitment differences. I have the BR TBE in my garage and am going to weld in a bung when the wideband comes in, plus I'm going to weigh it before putting it on. I'll do all the comparisons of weight, power, and fitment after I'm done.

Btw, if you can do all this research on ME and my past comments on Megan, then I'm sure you can do enough research to understand the differences between Buschur and Megan. It's like you just came out of the woods recently and haven't seen people using BR products religiously for the last few years.

The power ESTIMATE in my sig for the packages is exactly what it is...an estimate. In general, it doesn't matter what exhaust you use, but the BR is proven to be VERY powerful, so the numbers are expected when doing the package with a BR exhaust. People have made that power with that exhaust and those mods before I even bought my Evo.

I'm sorry dude, I thought it was like $400 for the Turbo Back from Megan, how much was it? I am sure it was a lot cheaper then the Buschur unit. You yourself would always bash people who bought expensive name brand products when you could simply get a cheaper brand that would do exactly teh same (like the Megan Racing Exhaust). I know that the Buschur Unit is very powerful, but then so is the Megan, and for a couple hundred cheaper too. The only difference I can come up with between the Buschur and the Megan is that the Megan is a lot cheaper.and performs just as well as other name brand exhausts. You had the fastest for cheapest MR without cams with the Megan, that's all the prrof I need. Should we pay more for just a name is what I am really asking?

The Megan Downpipe is -$159.95

The Cat Back is $360 for the Cat back

And another $90 for the Test pipe which brings us to a grand total of $609.95. Possibly cheaper if you eBay it.

The Buschur Racing Turbo Back Exhaust with a test pipe and the cheapest muffler goes for about $820.00.

That’s a lot cheaper, so I was wondering if we could skip the Buschur Exhaust and just get the Megan for your package?

Thanks for the Input.

You can go piece it together however you want, but you won't get the package price, nor the special flash, nor the free shipping. The Megan exhaust has worked well for me, but it does not have the bullet muffler, it's very loud, it doesn't always fit well on VIIIs and IXs, and it's not as straight as the BR. It is still very good, imo, but Buschur has no reason to do packages with the Megan exhaust instead of his own.

I'm happy to be able to run the BR in place of the Megan, but I have no problem with my Megan other than the 5" tip. I was about to weld on a 4" stock tip but then I got the BR TBE, which also has a 4" tip on the Bullet muffler.

If that is the case then why would anyone run the Buschur exhaust, that is over $300 cheaper, that is huge. IDk why you would swap a perfectly working Megan Exhaust out for the Buschur. Then again I guess Warrtalon got the unit for free as he is sponsored by Buschur.

Think for a second. I'm all about best bang for the buck but some people swear by certain name brands. The saying goes that you get what you pay for. So should I by HKS because they are more expensive or stick with DC Sports, Megan, etc. and pay less? What about AMS and Buschur? I say find what you like at your price range and just be happy. No need to stir the pot in here.

I'm not stirring, it's just that this thread has to do with the Warrtalon/Buschur parts and service. People don't normally change parts unless their is a direct necessity like the need for a larger turbo or an ignition system and so on. A 3.0 turbo back exhaust is more then what most people would ever need. Warrtalon made huge power on it, in fact over 400FP’s of torque to the wheels as of right now on the stock turbo. If not for the fact that he was getting a free turbo back exhaust from Buschur, I am wondering if he would pay the $820 to buy a new one to replace his Megan.
