Lets get a list of everyone whos running a GT35R to list trim, A/R, make of turbo etc.....

 

PTE, .63 turbine, ported "s" cover. 5 bolt "ford style" discharge.

 

By ported I assume you mean port shrouded? I have never seen anyone try to port a compressor cover.

 

I guess you could call it drilled as well.

They drill them for anti surge. Tho, what's interesting is that the 35/40 is an efficient turbo and doesn't need it

 

I wouldn't say that. Even with the anti surge ports, i still see some surging in 5th gear. I have been told that with the "e" comp. cover on you would start to see surging in 4th and 5th. Sometimes as early as 3rd.
