Help! No Fire after Washer incident!

Alright, here is the story:

Background - Evo IX... Exhaust cam and gear... With stock timing cover...

Story:
Just got the HKS Hi-power catback and the rest of my 3" dnpipe and tstpipe on.
"Hey, I think I hear my cam gear rubbin' on the cover, let's try and put one more washer there." Well my buddy dropped the washer into the timing area... you know.. down there... 2 of them at that.. Oh... the engine was turned once. That killed me right there, less than a second.

We spent a little while, after looking at diagrams, finding the washers. We got one of them out... had a funny, consistant plucking sound... turns out a part of the material was petruding and was being plucked by the belt... due to the second, lodged between some gear in the bottom area of that timing cavity, giving it a wobbling axis when it rotates.

Another thing, the Exhaust gear jumped 1 tooth SDRAWKCAB... that's right! Valves seem to be sealing properly, we can't hear ANY touching even with the valve cover off watching it as we crank it by hand. We shot some air into the cylinder, it's air tight in all of them.

Everything is backtogether, plugs in, belts on... timing DEAD on... Go to crank... it spins and spins and spins... no fire!? What!? EVERYTHING IS IN!

Question:
Is there a crank sensor on the Evo IX? Or any other sensor besides the intake and exhaust cam sensors? Does anyone know if there is anything that could be TRIPPED to cause my car not to fire... maybe not only tripped, but damaged.

The usuals.

Check the cam angle sensor (front of the head right by the upper coolant hose), fuel pump is plugged in all the way, make sure all the coils are plugged in, etc etc
