But with my personal experience with TT I would never ever go back there. I had to go back twice because they "forgot to tighten down my cam gears", which resulted in my car being a giant flame thrower and running worse than without any tune at all. And this all took about an hour on the phone with them to finally admit that it was their screwup.
Its not like I have never heard anything good about TT, I have. But bad aswell, and I chose wrong IMO.
But anyway, anyone else know any other Tri-state tuners?
Hey Stew, just wanna say good luck with everything, man. I'll follow your progress via the board, because I'm off to Hawaii in a couple of weeks for the next few years
. I know you can't wait to be back in business with the Evo!!

Stew, Stew! Stop thinking like you are going to still be running a 2.0L engine!
I would agree with the GT3076R turbo, but I would go with the .82 hotside over the .63 . You are porting the heads for better flow, putting in bigger valves, 272 cams and increasing the displacment to move more air in and out of the engine. I think the .63 hotside will counter act all the work that you put into the head by creating a large restriction in the exhaust flow and hurt your top end power.
Man, do a .82 hotside and forget it! The .82 should be a good match for the engine and head combo that we were talking about.
Remember I am going with crazy head work with 280 cams and XX has recomended that I go no smaller than a .93 hotside.
Burshur does some awesome work and have probable built every engine/turbo combo possible. Tap their knowledge to match your head work with the proper hotside A/R, just to get a more EVO friendly opinion

A 3076 will get you your 500+whp (DJ) with a proper setup and tuning. Even a .82 A/R hotside on the larger displacement 2.3 will make for a very fun, fast autocross car with a fat torque curve. With that ported head, you might even consider what benefit you'll get from a set of cams that can take advantage of the increased flow potential.
like Ted B said... if your goal is auto-x, defintly the 3076 with the .82 hotside. your not gonna be revvin her past 8k, so a gt30 or 35r are kinda pointless, as they are great for high revving motors, as in, they are great turbos for the upper parts of the power band (the gt30 is on the fence). take advantage of that stroker, get that 3076 spooled up, run an alky kit, pump the boost, and dominate the auto-x!
