Is this possible that I have an exhaust leak?

At every stop, I can smell the fume from the exhaust if my windows are rolled down. yes I mean every stop. dont have to be stop for 1 mins ... just like 2 secs after I stop, I can smell it heavy.


I currently have Esplier DP + Helix TP + HKS Carbon Ti


if its exhaust leak. would that be o2 meets DP part? or DP meets TP part?

You'll hear it if you have an exhaust leak. Your car will sound like a POS.... like a lawnmower.

I've had 2 exhaust leaks on my evo, one which i just fixed a couple days ago. Both sounded exactly the same. First time one bolt from the downpipe to the o2 housing was missing. Sounded like crap. Second time one of the 4? bolts from the o2 housing to the hotside came out. Again, made the car sound like crap.

Have you been noticing this for awhile? Over several tanks of fuel? Could be the fuel you're running. Do you have a test pipe? That will cause it to smell more. Any other recent mods? Did you tune the exhaust? It could be running rich. Need more info from you.
