bov on backwards?
i went to swap my hks bov out for the stock one and i put it on backwards by accident, i started the car, revved it, and i got a few CELS.
overboost
running rich
air intake temp
-right now im also able to build 20lbs in neutral by revving it.
i returned the bov back to the way it should be, and cleared the codes.
im still having the same problems with the CELS and Fuel cut.

what did i blow up or what should i look at?

I run the stock BOV backwards on purpose, at the track. I've never seen any CELs from it, but I'm on DSMlink. That being said, the only one that makes sense to me of those three is the overboost one. I spike to ~29 psi with the BOV in backwards at the start of each gear. I have to imagine that is over the ECUs "overboost" point
Just to be sure, the MAS is plugged back in right? That can give intake temp problems, and could probaly pork things enough to build so much boost with no real load. Worth a quick check, unlikely though.

ya i had a bov in my car backwards for a little while too. cant say i was doing it on purpose, i was just stupid. but it didnt give me any codes, so i would check the hoses or the maf.

Did you doublecheck to make sure the MAF sensor is plugged in completely? I can't imagine all those codes coming just from a backwards BOV. I think you messed up something else while doing the BOV exchange...
I don't like the idea of running it backwards all the time, it doesn't open easily at all. I ran it that way at the track only. Since I don't lift to shift, I only had to worry about it when I let off after the traps. Sounds like it's not too good for the turbo 
Edit> For what it's worth, the Gus Modded 1g BOV sounds much better for the turbo. It still holds shut during the run with the Gus line detached, but since it's not installed backwards it still opens properly. It's a little noiser, but doesn't sound bad for the turbo at all. On the street I reconnect that line. As soon as I get off my *** I'll set up DSMlink to control the BOV so I don't have to *** around with that line...

i run my bov backwards and have no adverse affects.. i also mistakenly put mine on backwards a while back but have had no problems besides the noticeably louder fluttering sound it makes when on backwards... I agree with Warrtalon check elsewhere..
