Custom GT35R Kit - Pics + Dyno
i wonder how the cams contributed to your numbers. i only got 511whp out of my setup at around 28psi. im running 264/272 setup at -3,-3. wonder if i should play with the cam timing a bit.
you running a 3 or 4 inch exhaust?

Maybe, but that 264 Int cam is going to be a limiting factor at some point. I might suggest retarding the exh cam 1-2 degrees and see what happens. You'll probably need a dyno to see the actual difference, but the idle will be a little bumpier.
I really enjoyed building this for Ted. Most shops would kill for a customer like him. He is a solid guy for sure. Look for some nasty old school sh#t from this joint in the future.
Much appreciation to everyone. Time to get on with phase II and finish what we started. Just know that before jumping into something like this, consider that a turbo kit is only the beginning of what one really needs to complete the picture. Be advised!
If you are referring to the wired plug in the oil pan, that would be the oil temp sensor, which doubles as the drain plug.

What I think is most impressive about Ted's result is that he made nearly 400whp on a DD dyno on straight pump gas. That's ~450 awd Dynojet hp. Pretty impressive for 22psi on a totally stock engine with only cams/gears. That thing is going to be a monster at 30psi on race gas (or on a lot of meth).

yum
I like the dump pipe cut out, i would like one myself.
Just the same I would advise against running that open for much more than quick race events.....
I remember seeing a mustang years ago where the guys cut the tail pipes off right under the gas tank and they wound up with 10 gallons of boiled gas.
Just heeding caution. Nice job and good luck!
