Good news to report!
Fixed my drivers door rattle. It was in the door or window frame so it seemed. Kinda a creak or squeak noise. Very irritating.
I did what I read someone else did - sprayed WD40 into the inner door. Used the red straw and sprayed for several seconds in the area at back/bottem of the drivers window with the window up. The excess drained out on the ground through a drain hole at the bottem of the door.
Got in car and took a ride and the noise was completely gone. Now, several days later it has never reappeared!

tuner or spyderturbo,
I think i have the same problem as you guys, i've tried everything to get rid of this creaking sound...
Are you guys spraying from the inside bottom left of the driver side window? Or Outside molding Where the door meets the car's frame?
Any help would be great.
Thanks in advanced.

I sprayed mine from the inside bottom left of the driver side window at the back corner. Almost didn't do it but read that it did work for someone. I was really surprised that the noise immediately went away and still has never came back!

I was a bit skeptical about doing it too. I thought dumping all that lube in there might ruin something with the power window mechenism or power door lock.
but..its been a few weeks now and I have not heard 1 creak since.
I think it was a better idea over taking the interior door cover off.
I've taken them off before on different cars....and they just never seem to "snap" back on 100% again...if you know what i mean..

Mine rattle is coming from my rear door panel on the driver's side, has done this since day one. It makes me wickedly angry. I push against the door panel back there and it goes away.
So, I thought it WAS the door panel. I pulled it out.. NO GO. Still have the rattle. Its driving me freaking crazy
At this point, I'm going to pull the plastic and have someone drive my car around while I sit there with a flashlight (or maybe a baseball bat)
and find exactly what is causing this.

Just as an FYI, when I got my 97 Eclipse new it rattled and creaked every where, but as time went by they all went away, as someone else said break in the dash and all the interior. May be a Mitsubishi design, may be tight and rattle, but at least a few thousand milees down the road it won't be rattling from things being loose.
