I wouldnt say torque means nothing. It definitely means something. My car makes buttloads of torque around 4000rpm which is where I take off from a roll-race. My car shoots out like a cannon but power drops off up top. Your car does the opposite (3076, same turbo as my brother in his DSM). It takes off not has hard but pulls like a freight train up top. Two different approaches, however both work. You should come down here and do some pulls, Im only an hour away

BB 50 Trim should be good for a big jump in HP and TQ while still maintaining a decent spool.

Not on pump gas its not. If you go look at most 50trim guys dynos on pump, the torque is lower than or the same as the stock turbo guys. The real difference in the 50trim is the maintained top end torque which translates into a lot more HP up top. A LOT MORE!

How much torque you think these 6,7,8 sec cars are making.... always less than horsepower. I should rephrase that , I dont care much about torque.

True, it does make the same torque as the stock turbo. But the stock turbo only makes that torque for what, 1-2k rpms or so? the 50 trim makes the torque and holds it flat until redline....

Well the thread starter was inquiring about low end torque not top end torque, so thats why I mentioned that.

apparently it's the latter and/or he figured out the best turbo for torque as his info says he's got a GT35R.

Or they could be all lies...

If you want torque down low and HP up top......add 75 shot of nitrous.

I love how people rip on here for not having an evo and asking questions... then when they actually go out and pick one up they get ripped on again... thanks for all the help but I deceided power was most important so went atp gt35r kit (cheaper than ams and has stock appearance for ca emissions)
