It uses the stock log manifold which handicaps power and increases lag. Probably why it's the cheapest kit on the market.

ATP GT35R kit= biggest dissapointment you will have...... That was honestly the worse possible choice for an aftermarket turbo of sorts, then again you drove a saleen before the evo, so you have a history of poor decisions...

I dont get it, you come on here for advice then you go and make a decision like buy a turbo kit (ATP) which we all would have told you is horrible.

Return the kit at once, even if it costs you the restocking fee.

Also in case your interested I believe somebody on these boards just installed a atp3076 kit, he reached 22psi at 5 IIRC (somewhere close to that), so be prepared to have like 1k rpm of full boost......

Wow I way underestimated how bad this kit was, 22 psi by 6k rpm.

Giving full throttle starting from 3300 rpms:
3500 - .2psi
4000 - 2.2
4500 - 5.1
5000 - 10.5
5500 - 19.7
6000 - 22.1
6500 - 23
8000 - 23
-that lil display of numbers was posted by another member with an atp3071/6 kit

Maybe you wont even make 22psi before hitting the rev limiter, and that my friend, is priceless!

Dont you need an evo first or are you going to swap the stroked 4G63 into the Saleen Tokoyo Drift style?

Buschur's GT35R kit is $3000 and has a cast manifold (stock looking).

I can't help but to join in in ridiculing you.... If you did in fact just buy an Evo, how about driving for a day or making a payment or two before swapping turbos? From your numerous silly posts, perhaps even learning a bit about how these cars work might be a good idea as well.

Unless you are a stud driver (or trolling for tickets on the highway) torque is your best friend.

I have no reason to have to explain myself. But I will: bought an evo with a 2.4l installed (less than 1k on the new motor)... just broken in... the car is an 03 bby and it is awesome, but it has the stock turbo and I want the most out of the stroker and so gt35r was the obvious street choice. Paid for the car with CASH from the sale of the saleen ... so payments are not an issue.... have some shop time comming to me so I have a opprotunity to have a new turbo installed ... I still have cash from the saleen and I honestly want the most out of the car. I loved my saleen and it was really fun to drive even though it was a completely different car than the evo. I wouldnt be doing the turbo swap right away if I didnt have the shop time as well as comming from a VERY high hp car. So ridicule me if you want (in a pm), its advie on turbos I want not on my car buying habits or ripping on me about imaginary cars. Give me a week and ill post a picture of the car with your choice of captions on a peice of paper as proof... until then get off my back... so basically if you dont have something to say about turbos stay off this thread
