Sending one into have it measured and then hardfaced. You have one I can get Scott? PM with ideas if you want to. I am willing to reimburse something for the cam as well. MY initial statement was a little too rash I feel.

so anybody order these cams yet? i can't believe basing on how well a IX responds to bolt-on's and tunes it's taking this damn long for good reliable cams to be made for the car....

part of that has to do with the fact that hte stock intake cam is prolly very good already. it's bigger and all that afterall.

I hope these cams are higher lift like an OEM Evo IX cam unlike the hacked 272 job which proved Zero gains for a grand .

they are about .27mm higher than the stock MIVEC Cam as far as lift. we would have gone higher with it but do to the amount of durration we couldnt.

Now on to the good news. The 9 Cams will start shipping on Tuesday and probably take till wednesday to get all of them out.

Yeah before you hype them and sell them why not offer them to a un-biased tuner and have a customers car tuned with them.

Are you suggesting yourself? It doesn't matter if the tuner is biased or not, if the cams work.... they work, engines aren't biased.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but having read the thread I believe that is what they did. They gave a set to AMS to install and tune in a customers car.

Oh good, we'll wait and see then. I hope they do a comprehensive test, same car, same boost pressure and so on only changing the Tune to Suit the Cams.
