GSC Power-Division EVO 9 Cams
I just got mt IX tuned in Cali and only made 315hp and 300 tq.Modes were the tbe w/hfc,helix 02,Works filter and Nesei Comp cooler w/piping.No injectors or fuel pump on 91 oct @ 20 psi.Conservative tune!!This was on a Dyno Jet.
doesnt sound like either tt or gsc cams are worth the money.
We need a real test to see the power that just the cams make. Was there a dyno run before and after the cam install with equal boost and aftermarket parts.

First of all. All Dyno's are not the same. There seems to be a growing trend on EVO M of cars with minimal mods hitting unrealistic numbers.
Trap speeds dont Lie. Most of these cars with these high dyno numbers go to the track there their trap speeds are not indicative of there HP reading. Our dyno numbers are always SAE corrected. So you are getting a real world number. You will go to the track and trap according to that Dyno number. After Dynoing the car the cams seem to pick up about 20 whp. thats pretty on par with a HKS 272 cam on an EVO VIII with a stock turbo. Keep in mind this is a stock turbo car. On a big turbo car this cam has the potential of making 40 whp over a stock cam.
After tuning the car we like that cam and will be carrying it for our EVO IX Customers. Spool was great and the cam had a good amount of mid range power like a stock turbo car should. One day I hope to own a IX of my own with our 50 Trim kit and this will be the cam set I install in it.
