I mean come on, no testpipe or boost controller to finish testing Sounds like this whole situation is more of an inconvenience than anything.

Im not going back to re-read all 18 pages , but im a IX owner myself and i was kinda excited to get a set of cams that actually produced power for the IX's... As for the test pipe situation and boost controller. Muffler shop for $20 will make you a 12" pipe with flanges. boost controller? Are you kidding me.. what shop are we talking about here that there are no boost controllers on hand, or testpipes.. sounds like they just dont care more than an inconvenience... You dont make excuses that little when you claim to run with the best evo's... not trying to show any disrespect, its just putting people's hopes up for nothing more the less..

What about all the customers that have turbo kits on order, tuning appointments, and installation appointments? Those are the people that keep the shop running. AMS isn't testing their own cams, they are testing cams for GSC. If you were to rank work in order of priority, those people with appointments and waiting on turbo kits should come first, then these cams for GSC, then working on their shop car. I was actually surprised to see them spending as much time as they have on these cams considering the waitlist for a tune is a couple of months long.

Exactly. The cam testing is a secondary job behind customer cars and the shop car.

If they put a test pipe in that car then they will compromise the original dyno #s the car made before the cams. Leave the high flow cat in the car and fix the boost problem. If the high flow cat is clogged then another IX should be found to complete the testing. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I am a customer. I went in for some parts and a tune. Ams asked me if they could test the cams on my car. I paid for the cam install and for the tune. I scheduled dyno time back in may. I understand that they are very busy. I'm in there twice a week. That is why I have been very patient and ams has been very patient with my car. Everyone needs to relax.

Awesome idea man, let the 8's have all the parts in the world... The IX's have so much potential and it is being held back.. I feel as if the IX's would instantly surpass the 8's in range of power if the NEEDED PARTS WERE AVAILABLE... Since they are so busy taking the car into the 8's and have no time for the testing then maybe GSC should take thier cams to BUSCHUR... they have nothing else to prove this year look, im not trying to start trouble, its just annoying to hear people complain then to get a smart A$$ remark from another person saying that there are more important things then Research and Development.. world would stop moving without it.. im done arguing.. Ill see them when they are done then.s

dude the IX's are already surpassing the VIII's as far as power. Read around. there's IX's putting down the same power as stage 4 evo VIII's with less mods. Cam development would just make it that much better.

Out of all of the IX owners, wroblewskievo is the only one that is inconvienenced. He's been onboard as a test mule for several months, but I haven't seen him complain once. What is everyone else's story?

The cams and #'s will come.

The funny thing is, im not at the least bit worked up.. The typing isnt angry.. Im not mad at GSC or AMS or anyone of that sort.. I just get irritated when other people use bad excuses for companies ect. ect. Do not tell me that a customer is not important, as school(HR MNGMNT) was my priority and being in sales since i was 16 years old (im not a pro) but in that time i learned what was important in doing business, and staying in business.

Hopefully everything works out okay, and the cams are finished!!! im not mad, i just saw red..

Lope Lope Lope Lope Lope...

Trying to be patient.. Was going to buy studs and fuel pump etc in anticipation but at this point I guess i will wait to see this come into fruition first before i waste money..

Also.. even if I do not see huge gains.. if I could see a wider band of existing power I would be happy. Even better with more power.
