GSC Power-Division EVO 9 Cams

Well prelim Testing is now finished and we have our first test sets available for in car testing. This is great news for all you evo 9 guys! If in car testing goes well which it has in the past with the Evo 8 and DSM cams. Then we should have product on the shelf ready to ship mid July. These lobes are not micro polished but we are planning to have it on the production version.

We will only be offering one set of cams for the evo 9. right now. They will be a 280/280 setup. Reason being is the numbers wont work on anything smaller to actually make power. I will release the specs as soon as we go into production as far as lift and duration from 1mm to 1mm.

Pricing will be around the same level as the evo 8 cams and the DSM.

Greg you done it again. Awesome. Is there any chance the evo 8 guys will get the 280 cams as well. I mean since the exhaust side will work on the evo8 already. All we need is the intake side.

So since they are only going to be avialable in 280/280 setup, is this fine for the stock turbo?

Was the prelim test done on a stock turbo?

thanks guys we have been working on these for about 8 months.

The 8 Guys probably wont get that large of cam from us. If we do something like a 280 its going to be a race design that will only be sold with our full head.

The 8 Guys do not need to use the 9 280's the lift is different and not paired for the 8 intake cam. They Will work in the 9 but were not designed for the 8

these are pretty agressive but will work great on the stock turbo. AMS will be installing a set in one of there evo 9 cars to give a non subjective dyno compairson to stock. should happen sometime end of next week.

Not from what we see as far as the specs of the stock 9 cams. yes they are going to loose a little below 3500 nothing major but should shine up top. the reason we had to go this large was the smaller stuff isnt going to make enough power differnece to warrent the cost of cams. 10whp isnt really worth $500 in my opinion.
