Wow this is great. Will these be similiar to the HKS prototypes we have seen that have an in cab controller for the mivec or is just a complete drop in?

Hey Greg
Will these cams be worthwhile on an IX with alky that's already making about 390whp? Can the stock IX turbo push enough to see the full benefits of these cams? If so, that would be close to 420-430whp on the stock turbo...

The 8 Guys probably wont get that large of cam from us. If we do something like a 280 its going to be a race design that will only be sold with our full head.

The 8 Guys do not need to use the 9 280's the lift is different and not paired for the 8 intake cam. They Will work in the 9 but were not designed for the 8
Didnt TurboTrix come up with some evo9 cams awhile back

i think i'd rather have the 272's but if they arent making much power.... i dont know. it just seems that the 272's arent as rough idling.

That all depends on the brand ya know. The JUN 272's are more agressive than the HKS 280's (AMS forums proves that). This is because JUN are just super f'in agressive!
It's just hard to figure out what to get when there's not much data out there for us IX'ers. I'm definitely in the market for some good daily driven road-racing cams.

this is really going to ruin alot of us VIII owners' day. now we are either going to have to spend even more money to make it up or get a IX.
