As long as there is a before/after showing gains of 20whp its all good. If the car tested had 310 and ended with 330... that is good!

So you are getting a real world number. You will go to the track and trap according to that Dyno number. After Dynoing the car the cams seem to pick up about 20 whp. thats pretty on par with a HKS 272 cam on an EVO VIII with a stock turbo. Keep in mind this is a stock turbo car. On a big turbo car this cam has the potential of making 40 whp over a stock cam.

After tuning the car we like that cam and will be carrying it for our EVO IX Customers. Spool was great and the cam had a good amount of mid range power like a stock turbo car should. One day I hope to own a IX of my own with our 50 Trim kit and this will be the cam set I install in it.

Nice job on the cams GSC. You get the AMS stamp of approval

Eric
Hitting the nail on the head - all DJ's are not the same

I made my numbers on TT's dyno (without cams, intake, MBC, etc....) - they put down a fair amount more with their cams on their dyno ~ 375whp (and not my car); it's not apples to apples, but what the hell is anymore in this environment

They hit 375WHP on 26PSI. Not realistic on the street.

You guys need to look at something here... When the LS1 first come out in the Chevys and tuners started making camshafts they were only picking up like 10 whp, and everyone was saying it was an untunable car. Now look at the LS1,2,6's ect... they make some NASTY power with cams!
What I am trying to say is that, give it sometime and the IX cams will shine. 20 whp is ok... kinda... but there maybe some tuning yet to be found in them

What I care about is what do the sound like????? ARE THEY LOOPY... if they are an order will be placed

It also looks like there is some tuning needed looking at that graph.

They sound good. They are not as loopy as hks. But the idle is like stock. The car feels great. It pulls hard. I think some people are disappointed with the results but I talked to martin today for awhile and after talking to him I am more then satisfied with the results. I blame myself for everyone waiting for results. I should of waited to post the results once everything was done. I want to apologize to greg, ams, and everyone that has been paying attention to this post over the last couple of months. thanks again to gsc and ams. They were and are consummate professionals and will get my business in the future. Thanks again everybody.

550 or 599 I thought. Which is not bad. You can pay a lot more for a full exhaust on a na car and not get much more hp.

Do you have a old graph of before the cams? What was changed on the car during the testing?
