I wish we could get it done sooner but we are waiting on the dyno.

The good news is that the mivec is working now so we can go ahead with the cores cutting down the time to get the cams to market for all.
Sigh, next thursday, after next thursday, this is a joke, just make do with what AMS has, remove all the exhaust but the downpipe, go to home depot and grab some ***** and springs and make a boost control, actually, i live in IL, i have 2 boost controlers i made spare laying around that will boost 21 and taper to 19 and will go as high as 29 that i'm willing to give for FREE. I'm getting so impaitient waiting for the results when you guys keep dealying a week at a time when the fix could be so simple, btw, not blaming ya on that first set of cams that has some defects in it, that delay was justifyed, but a restrictive cat?, just remove everything past the dp, and take 10 min to make a homemade 10 dollar boost controler.

it always seems to be next week, with this big of a demand one would think one of the best evo performance shops would be able to get this done in a more reasonable amount of time, i understand if it was the cams but a boost controller and test pipe. that is sorry

I AGREE. Waiting a week for those parts that are easily obtained. C'mon its supposed to be AMS. Dyno numbers should already be out since the cams are now working correctly.

I tried to bribe them to get it finished last week and now this week. hey they are busy up there and have customers that have been pacient. just so everyone knows waiting on next weeks results will not slow us down at all. the big problem was the mivec not working. This is great now, we can run the cores and have them ready to go! i am SURE that next thursday will show us what we want to see numbers wise.

How do you think I feel. My car has been down for almost two months. I was going to buy a mbc before all this happened but ams told me they can control boost with the flash. In ams's defense I picked up the car when ams was closing and they have a back log of tunes. So next thursday was the first time they could fit me in. I have been more patient then everybody so just wait until thursday. I talked to greg today and believe me he wants these out more then anyone and he has been keeping me informed at every step. Thanks and ill post results next thursday. If this doesn't work I will have a 06 ww rs for sale.

Ohh people are getting annoyed, I would be too. I would immagine that the 376WHP could be attributed to the 26PSI on pump, absolute razors edge and cannot possibly be consistent unless packaged in a Freezer.

You guys need to keep in mind that AMS is VERY busy since its the end of the race season and they're really trying to break into the 8's. Not to mention their shop is always full with customer cars getting major work done. I know the whole cam situation is a huge deal to all of us IX owners, but to them its not a top priority. welcome to reality!

The customer is always first. and if they are not put first from them, people will go elsewhere. Thats BS that them getting into the 8's is more important. Top Priority are the PEOPLE WHO KEEP THE SHOP CAR RUNNING!!!

I can't speak on there behalf but IMO thats what the hold up is. Should the customer needs be first? of course they should, but in the highly competitive sport they're in sometimes self needs are put first, and thats just the way it is. They are still a great shop but obviously the IX cams are not a big priority at the moment. I mean come on, no testpipe or boost controller to finish testing Sounds like this whole situation is more of an inconvenience than anything.
