Of course they're using the stock turbo... Most IXs have the stock turbo and want a set of cams.

I realize that most people will keep the stocker but I was just curious.......
I'm not going to keep the stock turbo so I wanted to know the gains on a aftermarket turbo with mivec cams.

That would depend on the turbo and amount of boost.

Im trying to get them a replacement cam before your appointment this week. I am 99% sure i found the problem. the oil passage was clocked 2degrees from the stock one we have here according to the cad drawing. if we can swing getting it one up there you should be good to go and have a real mivac working GSC cam setup in the car. only thing im waiting on is another core. should be here this week hopefully.

Hopefully this isnt an idication of how well these cams are going to work. Might have to wait for the HKS cams with their Mivec controller that is coming out.

Might have to pay 4 figures for HKS cams with MIVEC controller vs. GSC $599+ a competant reflash with customized MIVEC maps like we offer. Your choice.

Don't you only offer Ecutek flashes for Evo9's though? So it would still be 4 figures regardless...

Wrong. We offer Ecuflash and Ecutek tuning for IX's from $199. Also Techtom, Ecutek and Ecuflash for VIII's.
