They think something is wrong with the mivec. Ams is pretty busy so probaly won't get straightened untill next week after the holiday. One thing the cams are in the car right now and it idle's great.

Relax people... anyone check the post/view count lately (6988)? There are only a hand full of people to help everyone here interested. Don't be surprised if you don't here back until Monday or Tuesday.

There is a slight problem with the mivac on your car. Seeing as how AMS has never changed an intake cam there are about 20 different torque specs on setting up the mivac. AMS is more than capable and i have faxed them the steps so they can go threw there install. im sure we will get it straight in the next few days.

Just so every knows AMS got about 12whp or so out of just installing the cams. they had no mivac control so there is im sure of it a lot more in them. this was basically just bolting in the cams and having the mivac locked so it would not move the cams advance or retard it deffinatly affected the low and midrange.

Thanks for donating your IX wroblewskievo we truly appreciate it and will have it back to you asap!

AND to all that have been trying to get in contact with us if you left a message we will take care of it first thing monday morning. We have been out of the office most of last week untill today at the grand am race in Daytona. Sorry For the poor comunication with GSC last week.

Greg
Thanks for the update.

One request: Can you please post the info that you sent AMS regarding the install? You can imagine that we all get a little worried when we hear that a shop like AMS had some difficulties, as most of our local shops will be installing IX cams for the first time on our cars as well.

If you post the instructions/specs, we can print them for the shops/friends that will be doing our installs.

we are going to include instructions or at least torque specs, the blow out we got from mitsu is kinda hard to decifer. But, I totally agree with you that some of the DIYS guys or shops will definiatly have a problem. I just need to make sure that at least the blow out that we got from our mitsu dealer can be reproduced as some type of jpg or pdf.. once we get these figured out we will let all know.

I got it Greg. I think there may be a limit or something. Only XXX bandwidth per day or something. Worst case, I can find a way to get it to you.
