Ok so hopefully we will get results this thursday. When will they be posted? And when will you start shipping the cams to the people who have already ordered them?

The cams and #'s will come.
thank you. i have dealt with ams for over 3 years now. now i have dealt with greg at gsc. they are all great guys that really go out of their way to help the evo community. after talking to greg he has the most to lose out of anyone here. ams is probably sick of me by now but i talk to eric at least once a week. i do not like to be ****ed with and if either of these shops did that you all would be the first to know. martin set aside this thursday to work on my car. so be patient and this thursday we should have final results. this whole situation has huge potential for evo ix owners. thanks and i will post results in two days.

what mods did you have on your car before the whole cam testing started and what power did you make? What psi was your dyno run on?

Also what new mods are you running with the cams now.

I wonder what goes into making a MIVEC aftermarket cam. I would immagine that the exhaust cam shaft is the same as the VIII cams but the intake would need some redesigning especially if it was to be variable. TT had rigged up a Cam and it really showed no major gains.

While I haven't held the actual cam in my hands before, it looks like (from pictures) that the VIII cam and the MIVEC cam's only difference is the little extention at one end of the cam (for the MIVEC). I dont see how that could be so difficult to manufacture.

Then again, I dont make cams so...
